NPC Spay/Neuter vouchers help to defray the cost of “fixing” of your dog(s) or cat(s). Vouchers are given out on a first come, first served basis starting on the first day of each month. For spay/neuter vouchers call (209) 732-6194 and leave a voicemail message with your name, phone number, and information about the pets. Please include each pet’s type (cat or dog) and weight (for dogs). Make sure to leave your call back number and/or email address as well as your mailing address so the volunteer can mail your vouchers.
A volunteer will return your call to get any other needed information or to let you know that there are no more vouchers available for the month. If you miss out, please call back at the beginning of the next month.
The value of each spay and neuter voucher depends on the animal it is used for.
Dogs 30 pounds or under: $175 value for spay and $150 for neutering
Dogs over 31 pounds to 60 pounds: $200 value for spay and $175 value for neutering
Dogs over 60 pounds: $250 value for spay and $200 value for neutering
Cats: $110 value
In addition, the NPC gives out up to 3 medical vouchers per month to offset the cost of medical procedures, medicine and/ or shots. The voucher covers up to $50 of the vet bill.
